The design and features of a new, integrated, full-digital control board for IGBT H-bridge switching converters is described. The board fulfils stringent specifications in terms of dynamic response and linearity and guarantees a high degree of flexibility. After the description of the particular application, which required the design of these converters, the details of the digital board structure are given. The converter factory tests performed on a dummy load are also described, with particular emphasis to those showing the converter performance in terms of linearity and dynamic response.
