Abstract

The modification induced in the Optical-Klystron gain by an e-beam with non-negligible energy spread and emittances is analyzed. The analysis is carried out including the inhomogeneous broadening contributions due to the undulators and dispersive parts. The paper deals essentially with the low gain regime, the corrections due to the high gain effects are also discussed. © 1993.
