Abstract

Clear microstructural evidence is obtained from transmission electron microscopy of the occurrence of a modulated structure, as occurring in spinodal decomposition, during the decomposition of metastable mechanically alloyed Fe50Cu50solid solutions and liquid quenched (Fe20Cu80)99B1.
