Abstract

The problem of first wall lifetime under thermal fatigue is discussed from points of view of numerical evaluation of the thermal stress and strain, application of the presently existing nuclear standard codes, influence of different manufacturing technologies on the fatigue behaviour and development of nondestructive techniques for the evaluation of the component structural integrity. © 1994.
