The analysis of experimental data available in the literature shows that the neutron sensitivity ratio m = k3/k5for the two main glow peaks P3and P5of TLD-300 (for ribbons of 3.2 × 3.2 × 0.9 mm3) is dependent upon the response ratio R3/R5of these two peaks. This finding is in agreement with predictions from an equation derived from the two-peak method equations. The result implies that the peak response ratio R3/R5for TLD-300 surrounded by Tissue Equivalent material is independent of the encapsulating material.
