Abstract

An electron based radiation source is presented with the aim of irradiating cell membrane models and biological cell membranes. The peculiarity of the device is that it can simultaneously generate short electromagnetic pulses, in the millimeter wave range, and electrostatic pulses with the same time structure. © 2011 IEEE.
