Abstract

We present the issue raised by electron cyclotron resonance heating for the present development of Fusion Reactors. The possibility of realizing a Free Electron Laser operating in the range 220-450 GHz is discussed also in view of heating in high magnetic field Tokamak. © 2009 IEEE.
