Abstract

The non-linear potential wake and stopping power of swift ions moving in a classical and collisionless electron plasma are studied within the Vlasov theory. The aim is to study the influence of such non-linearities on the correlated motion of swift ions after molecular fragmentation. © 1993 Società Italiana di Fisica.
