Review on flow boiling in microchannels

Abstract

An extensive review of flow boiling in microchannels has been made. Channel classification has been shown. Onset of nucleate boiling, liquid film thickness, flow pattern and bubble growth, heat transfer, pressure drop, critical heat flux and boiling instability with particular emphasis on different types of instabilities have been discussed.
